John is 11 months old today. One month left until the big birthday. Don’t worry – some fun knitterly things are planned and have yet to be revealed.
Since being reunited with Bobby at the beginning of the week, John gets very excited every morning when he sees Bobby. Yesterday morning he actually said, “Bobba, Bobba, Bobba” and reached out his hands to pet him. It was so sweet. I thought it was a fluke. But John did it again in the afternoon…. and again this morning. So, I guess, Bobby has been renamed, “Bobba.”
But isn’t that how it goes with babies? Their names always sound twice as cute as the real name. My name “mom” sounds like “mem.” It’s hilarious. Only JK’s name, “dad” sounds normal, “dada.”
Ah, the sounds of childhood — it’s adorable. Each moment is too precious. I just hate it when people push kids too fast or worry about things so far down the road or worry about nonexistent problems. It is absolutely ridiculous!
Whatever you’re doing today, stop and enjoy the moment with your kids – it goes by too quickly.
