Garter Leaf Shawl

by Christina

DK Weight

I have been knitting – frantically.

I’ve been so determined to go ahead with the fall collection despite the upheaval I’ve been through this summer (i.e. the moldy house) and despite the fact that we still are essentially camping in our house because the hardwood floors are not in.

The first pattern to be released will be the Garter Leaf Shawl.

It’s a crescent shaped shawl knit from the outer edge to the top and consists of short-row shaping. It’s a ton of fun to knit.

Worsted Weight

You can knit it out of three different weights of yarn – sock, DK or worsted – thus you will have three different sizes!

The pattern is almost complete – so look for it soon!

  1. Is there any way someone could post to YouTube how to knit the Garter Crescent? I am a fairly new knitter and am dying to complete this, but am having trouble understanding this section. Thanks so much!

  2. Very cute! This will be great for fall! I love the cresent shawls!

  3. Love this shawl!! I am looking forward to the pattern availability. Btw, I wanted your Bramblewood Vest pattern that I saw on Ravelry, but the link no longer works. Is there anyway that I could get that pattern?

  4. Oooh… I like this. I look forward to seeing the details (yardage, etc).

  5. I love this shawl! It is one of the prettiest ones that I have seen. I can’t wait until you release the pattern. Thanks for your creativity.
