Thanks for kindly receiving Garter Leaves – even with the kerfuffle in the beginning.
Yes, somehow I managed to insert the Test Knitter’s Draft Chart into the final pattern – NOT the final chart. I got it all sorted out yesterday morning and uploaded to Ravelry. Those of you who have already purchased Garter Leaves should have received a message from me and an updated PDF. And you do want to make sure you have the PDF Garter Leaves 2 (not Garter Leaves 1) – it does make a difference.
When this happens, I have to remind myself that errata does happen even to the big-wigs. Because, to be honest, I go all hay-wire and frantic – like an artist that just received a bad review and the urge to burn every pattern I ever wrote comes upon me. Ha! Then I go to Knitspot’s blog and look at her errata page just so I can start breathing again! =) It happens.
But…. some of you asked for clarification about yardage. You are right, the Ravelry page is confusing.
Small Shawl - Sock Yarn: 253 yards approx.
Medium Shawl - DK: 325 yards approx.
Large Shawl - Worsted: 430 yards approx.
