Stolen Moments

by Christina

Quiet knitting moments, listening to a good book on CD or my podcasts are few and far between right now. I feel like I have to steal them right now, usually from something else that needs to be done, clean the kitchen floor, vacuum, iron, you know, the every-day things. But after a morning and afternoon of taking care of a wee baby on the verge of crawling and a under-the-weather husband, I needed just a tiny break.

So while Little John was down for a nap, I made the husband a tray of tea and then took one cup for myself and headed off to the spare bedroom for a quiet sit & knit. It only lasted 20 minutes but it was blissful! I listened to “The Picture of Dorian Gray” by Oscar Wilde. Book/Knitting club is next week and that is the book we are reading. It’s been interesting….

Do you ever steal moments to knit?
